The Houttuynia Cordata Camaleon, or chameleon plant, is a plant of the Sauraceae family, a close relative
of the Saurus cernus, with which it shares the characteristic smell.
It is very decorative for its foliage and makes little white flowers. It can be cultivated both with its feet in
the water and on the edge of the pond; it is low and covering therefore very useful for the borders around
the pond; for its adaptability to different soils, it is used also in the common gardens.
