The Ruellia Brittoniana, or Mexican Petunia, is a plant of South American origin, where it is widely used
in gardens, hedges (it reaches the 2,5 m of height).
In the places of origin it is considered edible.
The flowers last one day as in all Ruellie, but it is very floriferous, once the flowering starts normally
from May, it continues until winter when the ice burns the aerial part.
Originally from Mexico, it doesn't have temperature problems even if in winter the aerial part burns to
start again in spring.
It grows, indifferently, in water or on land, excellent both in the lower part and on the banks of our pond,
or in the gardens.
