The Myriophyllum Brasiliensis or Brazilian Water Millefoil, is an oxygenating plant that forms cushions
similar to a conifer forest on water.
Starting from the bottom it tends to position itself on the surface of the water where it forms floating
islets. Its roots oxygenate and filter the water, offering shelter to fry and many aquatic organisms.
It's not afraid of frost.
It has been included in the Union list of invasive species of the Ministry of the Environment ( law
230/2017), and therefore it has been deleted.
